The women are depicted wearing stylized regalia - Dush-Toh is a traditional head drop for Caddo ladies. Small mirrors were attached as decorations. The mirrors were acquired trade items from Europeans. Feminine and colorful, Three Sisters honors women looking forward...and reflecting!

A note about the paper; the page is from a registration ledger for goods and supplies for an almshouse. These housing institutions were the first iterations of a public health and welfare system for basic support for the poor, mentally ill or abandoned.
