Lapis is one of the oldest work gemstones worldwide, with only a few deposits found in North America. Todd uses rare and unique stones in his carvings, inspired by his knowledge and college degree in geology.

For this Maiden, he used blue lapis with a lovely matrix. Turquoise and sterling silver insets with sgraffito Dragonflies.  A joy to hold and one of Todd's largest and beautiful Maidens.
