Crow Mother is completed with her basket - in this case, on her back. She once again arrives from the home of the Kachinas, with the green harvest of bean sprouts and young corn plants, portending a good and essential new growing season. Her fox skin ruff is depicted with fossilized walrus ivory. Her mask includes ebony insets. 18k gold Sunflower and Warrior Twins symbols complete the shawl.
